Getting Your Food Handler or Food Manager License Is Now Made Convenient

With the next food borne illness just around the corner, the lives of thousands of people across the United States are threatened. Food establishments have no choice but to have their employees trained on food handling.

Prevent First’s state-specific food Handler Training meets the health department’s requirements for food safety Certification. The course covers the importance of food safety and the role of local health departments that enforce it; proper cleaning and sanitation; how to identify food illnesses and its causes; identifying different types of contamination; understanding temperature control and proper food handling and storage.

A food handler or food manager card is required of individuals who are employed by a restaurant or food facility and directly engage in the manufacture, preparation, storage, handling and service of food or beverages. These individuals include but are not limited to waiters, chefs, cooks, bartenders and restaurant supervisors. Obtaining the food handlers training card will position you and place you above your peers.

Fees: $139 (16hrs New Certification & 8hrs Recertification)
